Rural community vitality & education: the company provides education for our members and the agricultural public to help in building rural communities capacity for understanding about iowa's agriculture and the agricultural economy. Scholarship funds were awarded to deserving college freshmen and funds were spent to sponsor agricultural educational programs including ag marketing speakers and experts in risk management, nutrient reduction, crop disaster recovery, conservation and grain marketing. To support our agricultural membership, the company hosted events for education and networking, including networking sessions for young farmers in hopes to expand education and vitality to that demographic.

Public policy: the company functions as a grassroots support network for engaging in public policy education and communications affecting their membership. Throughout the year, our volunteers worked with county decision makers and agricultural leaders throughout multiple meetings. To develop policy, a member survey was printed and distributed to members to obtain thoughts and opinions on issues affecting them. Policy committee meetings were held throughout the year, both in person and virtually. Leaders advocated for policy with decision makers on a local, state and national level.

The company has various programs that are aimed at providing information to members on current agricultural issues through newsletters, meetings, etc. 1,883 members were benefitted in this manner during 2024.
