Education and agriculture in the classroom: promoted scholarship opportunities for members awarding four scholarships to high school seniors in 2024. Sponsored local young farmer members to attend the iowa farm bureau young farmer conference to assist members with leadership development, educational opportunities in the fields of conservation and commodity markets. Enhanced the county agriculture in the classroom program, where students from two of the public-school districts in lyon county participated.

Public relations: organized a promotion to support local county fair and bring awareness to the economic impact agriculture has on lyon county. We also sponsored a young farmer vip booth at the county fair where they can watch the figure-8 races in air conditioning. We maxed out the booth last year at 50 young farmer members.

The company has various programs that are aimed at providing information to members on current agricultural issues through newsletters, meetings, etc. 1,297 members were benefitted in this manner during 2024.
