Education/ag in the classroom: lee county farm bureau sponsored young farmer members to attend iowa farm bureau young farmer conference. Lee county sponsored collegiate farm bureau program at southeastern community college where college age ag students participate in leadership development, educational programs on conservation and markets. Hosted educational seminars to provide information to expand the knowledge of farmer members about dot rules/regulations. Three graduating seniors were awarded scholarships to assist with their education, in hopes of improving lee county.

Public relations: lee county promoted and supported the county fair to educate the non]farmer on modern agriculture and the important role farmers play in their community. Lee county farm bureau hosted a fundraising initiative for the local food pantries during ag week. The organization also hosted a farmer appreciation event at central lee community schools. This event highlighted farm-to-table concepts, lee county agricultural economic impact, and stewardship of farmers.

The company has various programs that are aimed at providing information to members on current agricultural issues through newsletters, meetings, etc. 1,585 members were benefitted in this manner during 2024.
