Programs
3 programs
Public policy expense: members have the opportunity to surface issues for inclusion in the policy development process. All issues surfaced are later entered into the policy development system for other members from across the state to review and prioritize. Once policy ideas are arrived at, members opinions on each are sought, positions arrived and then approved.
Agricultural promotion expense: residents of louisa county are made aware of the importance of agriculture through a variety of outlets. Attendees of the wapello rodeo were made aware of current events affecting agriculture. Agriculture questions were provided to attendees who utilized technology to respond and enter drawings. Break bags and safety tips were provided to farmers during the fall harvest. A smaller audience is reached through newsprint sources in area newspapers stressing the same points.
The company has various programs that are aimed at providing information to members on current agricultural issues through newsletters, meetings, etc. 884 members were benefitted in this manner during 2024.
