The iowa golf association foundation preserves, protects and promotes the best interests and spirit of the game of golf. It's most significant activities are the generation of tax deductible contributions to fund its charitable purposes which include the granting of college scholarships, administering the iowa golf hall of fame and supporting junior golf, turfgrass research, and other programs.

Iowa golf hall of fame - approximately 112 people attended the 2024 induction ceremony where five new members were inducted.
The organization's youth on course junior golf program had 1,682 members who played 10,201 rounds of golf at 37 participating golf courses in 2024.
The organization made five grants ($9,000) to three organizations to support junior golf programs, one grant ($4,000) to an organization to support turf grass research and two grants ($3,000) to two individuals for golf tournament travel expenses.
