Iowa primary care association is supported by the u.s. Department of health and human services, health resources and services administration to provide technical, clinical and administrative non-financial assistance to federally qualified health center grantees, look-alikes and migrant health programs in iowa to meet program requirements and improve performance. In addition, the company works with communities to evaluate the community health center model as a solution to a community's need for increased access to health care.

Iowa primary care association partners with iowa department of public health to provide advancement in the jedi-b space. This included assessments with our iowa federally qualified health centers' communities to be able to meet all fqhc communities where they are. We also developed training and engagement tools for fqhcs to use with staff, board and community members.

In addition to the three largest programs, iowa primary care association provides other technical assistance to community health centers and migrant health programs in iowa in the areas of advocacy and policy, provider recruitment and workforce development, health information technology, expansion of oral health services to the underserved and quality and performance improvement. In addition to the services provided to community health centers and migrant health programs in iowa described previously, iowa primary care association provides technical, administrative and/or programmatic assistance to the university of iowa and the iowa association of rural health clinics.
