Iowa State Aberdeen Angus Breeders Association

Bull testing - each april, the association holds a sale to evaluate member's bulls for performance and genetics.

General promotion & magazine - promotion of the angus breed at events and fairs throughout the year. A directory is printed each year with members names and contact information which is distributed to members and beef buyers. Approximately 3,000 directories are published. A magazine is printed six times a year with information on the angus breed of cattle and member information about the association such as minutes of the last meeting and upcoming association events. These are distributed to members and buyers with approximately 1,500 copies printed each time. Scholarships and awards are given to junior members during shows and sales each year.

Preview show - each june, the association holds a cattle show for junior members (teenagers) and adult members to show their cattle and compete against one another.
