Irish Dance Teachers Association Of North America-Southern Region Inc

To promote irish dancing and irish dancing competitions. The southern region manages a schedule of competitions (feiseanna). The southern region collects registration fee for each and pays a portion of the registration fee to the commission of irish dancers.

The southern region awards 26 travel allowance stipends to dancers and a team of dancers to help them pay for their travel expenses to compete in the world irish dancing champsionship.

To host the yearly north america irish dance competition (naidc)for dancers that qualified from all regional dance competitions. The naidc is assigned to a different region each year.
