The isa elaine foundation is dedicated to advancing research discoveries on ultra-rare pediatric neurodegenerative diseases, specifically bpan (beta-propeller protein-associated neurodegeneration) caused by a mutation in the wdr45 gene. By characterizing early-onset bpan in isabella elaine lazzara, we aim to uncover insights that may unlock future treatments for major neurodegenerative diseases such as parkinson's and alzheimer's.
