Island medical assistance society is a humanitarian organization formed in order to raise funds through various fund raising activities for the sole purpose of buying medical equipment and supplies. These medical supplies and equipment are then donated to various doctors and hospitals who have requested help in alleviating the suffering of, and provide adequate medical care to, less fortunate people.
