Mission
The primary purpose of the Association is to support the rendering of assistance and/or emergency care to medical and trauma patients on Islesboro and to support transport of such persons, if necessary, to the mainland for medical treatment using the ambulances of the Islesboro Ambulance Service. To that end, the Association funds ambulance equipment and EMT and driver training.
