Mission
To provide financial support for deserving members of the community seeking higher education; to provide funds for the medical support and treatment of children and other persons in need of assistance; to promote the health, welfare, happiness, and education of other persons in need of assistance; and to make gifts to educational, literary, scientific, charitable, religious, or other institutions or organizations approved by the directors.

During the 2021 tax year, the other grants distributed by the organization included support for a community swimming program at the local ymca, and to individual residents of islesboro to assist with costs for transportation, crisis intervention, and miscellaneous family assistance.
