Intensive treatment residence is a longer-term program that works with children ages 4-13 who often have had multiple failed community placements or multiple hospitalizations/cbat admissions. The program accepts children who have a range of diagnoses including but not limited to ptsd, adhd, asd, odd, depressive and mood disorders, and adjustments disorders. The goal of this program is to reunify the children with identified family members as quickly as possible. All group home clients are assigned a master's level clinician and provided intensive individual, group, and family therapy throughout the duration of their stay. We work very closely with families to identify tailored treatment needs and necessary natural supports.

Therapeutic after-school, summer and vacation programs - the therapeutic after- school program serves children and families facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges , many of whom are returning from out-of-home placements , or are at risk for disrupting placements at school and/or home and/or who need assistance in buildingtheir capacity to utlize community supports. The program provides highly structured activities for children for whom traditional, less structured programs many not be appropriate. The program staff works closely with families, schools, and service providers to ensure that all needs are being met. Vacation camp is for 5-12 year old childrenwho are not able to be maintained at a traditional camp due to a variety of social/emotional behaviors that require a high staff ratio, small group and therapeutic interventions. This is a full day, 8 hour, camp during the summer and school vacations.

Clinical services the organization is committed to providing comprehensive outpatient services to children, adolescents and adults. These services include individual and group counseling, family counseling, psychopharmacology, evaluation and diagnostic assessment, advocacy and referral to community resources. The organization provides specialized services to women and children involved in abusive situations, trauma services and critical incident stress management.

The partial hospitalization program (php) at italian home for children is an intensive group-based and short-term treatment program for youth in need of a transitional level of care. This level of care can be used as a step-down from inpatient or cbat (community based acute treatment) placement, or as a stand-alone diversionary level of care to help the child remain in the community and avoid needing hospitalization.

Youth community crisis stabilization (yccs) is provided to children / adolescents up to and including the age of 18 with behavioral health symptoms that require a 24-hour-per-day, seven-day-per-week, staff secure treatment setting. The primary function of yccs is to provide short-term crisis stabilization, therapeutic intervention, and specialized programming in a staff-secure environment with a high degree of supervision and structure. Yccs provides active treatment that includes restoration of functioning; strengthening the resources and capacities of the youth, family, and other natural supports; and ensuring a timely return to previous living environment.
