Mission

The mission of the Iu-Mien Association of Oregon is to empower and uplift Iu-Mien communities throughout the state. We offer vital assistance and support to families, aiding in their transition by providing language acquisition services and facilitating cultural integration into mainstream American society. Serving as a liaison between local and national governmental bodies, we ensure that the unique needs of Iu-Mien refugees are addressed. Additionally, we bridge communication divides within the community and beyond, fostering understanding and promoting the rich heritage of Iu-Mien culture both domestically and internationally.
