Jackson area manufacturers' association's mission is to accelerate the success of our region's manufacturers and workforce by providing access to world-class organizational and talent development solutions.

Jama operates the academy for manufacturing careers which is organized and operated exclusively for educational purposes designed to help both incumbent and potential employment-age workers acquire, maintain, and/or enhance the skills and proficiencies required for success within advanced manufacturing careers. As part of achieving their mission, jama partners with the shop rat foundation and the jackson area career center to provide youth programs. Jama also operates an apprenticeship program with local manufacturing companies coordinating talent with organizations willing to train and teach individuals.
