The jamaican american law enforcement was formed for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, primarily to promote and develop a friendly and fraternal spirit among all members of jamaican descent in the police force of new york, create a more harmonious relationship within the police department and throughout new york, and to address and voice the concerns of jamaican officers.
