Riverwise detroit magazine is a community based magazine working to create media that reflects local activism and the new work being done in and around detroit. They have a 16 member collective and have produced a publication on a quarterly basis.

Birwood house is established to nurture local leadership to organize and govern it,s community. Birwood house has engaged community organizations to build ans maintain it's neighborhood. Summer program held middle school students.
