James Deangelo Foundation

We held a memorial charity golf tournament at the Quicksilver golf course in June 2024 to raise money for promoting Electric-Shock Drowning Awareness ("ESD") to the public, support the DeAngelo family after the passing of their 24-year old son, sponsor scholarships to St.Louise De Marillac/California University of Pennsylvania/Peters Township High school students, donations to local religious institutions such as St Benedict the Abbott Church, and sponsor special events and other organizations that provide public services such as religious educational or other organizations. This was funded through donations collected per the golfing fee, community donations, sponsorship donations, and donated awards. This activity furthers our exempt purposes by promoting and providing information about Electric-Shock Drowning Awareness to our community and the public, supporting local organizations to help their pursuit of charitable/religious/education pursuits, and support the DeAngelo family.
