Master classes were held with leading music professionals and nearly $50,000 in prize money was awarded.""In November 2024, JTVA awarded its 4th annual Elizabeth Greenfield award to a singer chose from among a field of 80 applicants. This $5,000 grant, named in honor of a trailblazing 19th-century Black American singer, recognizes an outstanding present-day Black singer by providing financial assistance to further their career."
