Mission
The principle objective of Jamyang Foundation is to nurture the learning capabilities of needy women and girls in developing countries, to provide them with study and training programs, and help them develop as teachers, counselors, community workers, and spiritual guides to others, especially women. Emphasis is on enabling women to progress spiritually and intellectually, to gain all the practical skills required for self-sufficiency and for the everyday functioning of a traditional learning and practice center. The study and training programs are designed to prepare women and girls to initiate similar programs in the Himalayan region of India, Bangladesh, and other countries.
