HALO: Supporting Reentry and Reintegration Our HALO Program offers peer support beginning while our moms are still incarcerated and continues throughout their release and reentry process. With a focus on life skills, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building, Janie's Angels is dedicated to ensuring that every mom experiences successful reintegration into society. Our commitment extends beyond reentry, helping each mother not just survive, but thrive, as she reconnects with her children and rebuilds her life. Our holistic support empowers moms to successfully navigate the challenges of reentry, offering comprehensive resources such as employment readiness, counseling with Licensed Professional Counselors, affordable housing, and recovery support. In addition, our quarterly gatherings foster a supportive community of reentry mothers, where they can share experiences, gain insights, and tackle the complexities of parenting and life together. Through this network of care and peer support, we ensure that no mom walks her reentry journey alone, enabling her to rebuild her life with confidence and strength.
HORIZON: Empowering Families and Communities Our HORIZON Program is dedicated to empowering Janie's Angels children and their families. Through workshops, events, and holistic support, we provide children with the tools and life skills needed to build the love and resilience that lasts a lifetime. More than just teaching, we create a loving, supportive community that embraces Janie's Angels families year-round, ensuring that they feel seen, valued, and uplifted. Our quarterly gatherings offer transformative experiences, such as Vision Boarding sessions where the children set meaningful goals and plan for their futures each year. We host an annual summer camp that offers our children the invaluable opportunity to connect with caring mentors, all while enjoying fun, enriching activities. Set in a natural environment, the camp allows them to explore and discover more about life-and themselves-through a blend of adventure, personal growth, and reflection. Throughout the year, we provide impactful programming focused on social, emotional, and life skills, helping our children develop the tools they need to thrive. Additionally, we serve as a crucial bridge between our moms, daughters, and their guardians, offering education and support to navigate the unique challenges of reuniting families as moms return home.
