Jawonio early childhood services - jawonio, inc. Is certified by the nys department of health. Jawonio works closely with the rockland county department of health for the early intervention (ei) program (ages birth to 3). Jawonio's special education preschool is certified by the nys education department, and the nys office of children and family services and has close professional working relationships with all school districts in rockland county including special education administration and educational-based schools (i.e. Septa), therapists and staff throughout the community we serve.

Behavioral health - the jawonio promise program (or pros-personalized oriented recovery services) is a service provided in a "college-like" atmosphere and developed around innovative therapeutic and clinical strategies. Psychiatry, psychology, medication management and social work are offered as part of the program developed by program participants themselves and professional clinicians and staff. At the same time, friendships are formed, self-confidence is instilled, stabilization becomes a goal, with the aspiration of becoming a functioning member of the community. Innovation such as talent shows, art and music therapy, meditation and wellness-based strategies are utilized. Behavioral health services and primary care services are becoming closely integrated to treat the "whole person" along with case management supports and resources.
