This program is to assist people trying to get into Section 8 or public housing with grants in excess of the normal benevolent assistance that allow them to qualify for available housing assistance.
The Families Forward program is a housing assistance program aimed at assisting a family's transition quickly from homelessness to independent living. It is a collaborative effort between local homeless shelters, advocacy agencies and the Jefferson City community.
