The organization is organized to provide training for jefferson county firefighters. The organization also provideds for co-operation and co-ordination between the 16 jefferson county fire agencies in providing fire/rescue services for the residents of jefferson county, missouri. The organization supports the jefferson county fire investigation team, the jefferson county training academy.
