We were able to complete seven landscaping and neighborhood beautification projects, through grant funding. They included installing street trees, removal of an old wall and debris and installation of a new stone wall, and landscaping.

JSC has provided microgrant "seed funding" for four local businesses to promote economic development efforts.

Community engagement has been enhanced by organizing a farmer's market with fresh produce, providing access to healthy food and providing a place for local vendors to sell their products. JSC has also engaged the community in commuity activities to promote public safety.

JSC provides community residents free Zumba exercise classes in our gym two evenings a week, with a professional instructor, providing another avenue to promote healthy activities. We also offer pickleball and basketball, modern dance, yoga, and Tai Chi.
