Jeremie Rising built 17 simple shelter homes for homeless families in 2024. These are small, 3-4 room structures featuring tin sheet walls and roofing, affixed to a wooden frame, mounted on a concrete pad. Windows and lockable doors are included. Homeless families also receive mattresses and simple household items upon completion.

Jeremie Rising organizes K-12 tuition sponsorships for children whose parents struggle just to feed them in Haitis depressed economy. In 2024, 156 children received such sponsorships, for which we maintain academic records. Some children do not pass in a given year. We are inclined to let such students have a second chance, although their sponsors have the final say. Tuition support includes tuition, school uniforms, backpacks and school supplies.
