The center is an emergency rescue facility for orphans and vulnerable chidren between the ages of 0 and 5 years and children with disabiliti from 0 and 10 years. Lorato house rescue centre was opened in 2010 and the building in 2012. The house has been set up in the form of normal home with living, dining, laundry, and bedroom,as well as staffroom and kitchen. The house mother lives on the lorato house property ensuring that children have 24 hour care and protection the caregivers change shifts to ensure that the children have all day care during their stay at the house the children are fed wholesome meals taken to hospital for their monthly weighing and immunisation and educated
