The organization was funded by the jerry longridge estate and exists to benefit the university of wisconsin-eau claire foundation inc, a wisconsin non-stock corporation. All net income of the organization is to be used to fund scholarships for students attending the university of wisconsin-eau claire majoring in either the nursing program or in the biology department.
