JFCS, guided by Jewish values, works with youth and other vulnerable community members of all faiths to build resilience and to achieve the social and economic stability needed to support their mental health and well-being.

Programs

Homelessness Prevention and Assistance is offered to Veterans experiencing homelessness and to families at risk of homelessness. In addition to financial help with rent or mortgage payments and utilities, supportive services also include help with employment, budgeting, healthcare navigation and other services that will help veterans and families achieve longer term housing stability.

Aging Services and Jewish Connections provide counseling, bereavement services, educational and social groups for seniors and caregivers to combat isolation, as well as chaplaincy services and financial assistance for members of the Jewish community. Outreach, group activities and supportive services are also provided to Holocaust survivors.

Healthy Relationships and Fatherhood Education provides adults with multi-session classes on healthy relationships, positive communication skills and financial literacy to strengthen or rebuild connections within their families and communities.
