Mission

JPEF preserves the extraordinary history of the Jewish partisans of World War II and, drawing on their courage and resilience, produces and distributes educational materials that teach young people why and how to resist antisemitism and hate.

Outreach (Teacher Training and Collaboration): JPEF conducted 13 teacher training institutes, reaching more than 450 new educators. These teachers will reach more than 28,000 students in the next year. JPEF continued engaging in long-term collaborations with other Holocaust organizations and focused on reenergizing and strengthening existing partnerships. To this end, it trained 30 new museum and educational staff members who, in turn, will train colleagues and educators in their locations. JPEF continued working closely with Facing History and Ourselves and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and also joined with Kean University, the Virginia Holocaust Museum and the Tennessee Holocaust Commission in presenting joint in-person training workshops with constituents.

Upgraded the website platform to ensure continued functionality and migrated it. Built a new web platform to accommodate Foundations of Resistance. 136,000 people visited JPEF?s websites for information, with more than 35,100 viewing JPEF-s films and partisan interviews.
