Mission
The jewish scholastic press association was founded in 2013 for the purpose of offering student journalists in jewish high schools a way to learn and connect around jewish- and israel-related news and feature coverage, while also looking at news media through a lens of jewish ethics based on principles found in the torah. It teaches top-level journalism skills, supports and develops media in schools where they are not yet present, and operates a website that re-publishes the best work from member schools.
