Jobs With Justice Education Fund

Coalition Building: JWJEF supported a vibrant network of 26 local coalitions working at the grassroots level in 17 states to educate and organize for economic justice and workers rights at the local and state level. We strengthened the effectiveness of local coalitions by providing trainings, leadership development, technical assistance and capacity building in a range of areas, both organizational and programmatic. Advancing Black Strategists Initiative: JWJEF launched multiple research collaborations, held a fellowship program and hosted strategy convenings to develop the leadership and draw on the expertise of black organizers, academics, communicators, and policy experts in order to advance strategies focused on improving conditions for black workers, particularly in the US South.
