The Joel Fund's mission is to reconnect veterans to life at home. We use the power of community to engage, educate, and encourage veterans and their families.

Operation Furnish provides direct economic impact through in-kind donations of household furnishing. We help build financial stability in the lives of veterans and their families after experiencing homelessness or crisis. This program was ended in 2024.

Operation Connect provides opportunities for those we serve to connect with resources and their peers through various activities and one-on-one interaction. Through community partnerships, The Joel Fund creates warm referrals to resources across North Carolina to veterans and their families.

The Joel Fund began the process of renovating a building to house the Joel Center, which will be a Veteran Resource Hub offering art classes, workshops, wellness programs and connection to resources such as employment support, legal aid and financial counseling.
