John Tracy Clinic

Our graduate program is held in partnership with mount saint mary's university, los angeles. It provides teacher candidates with rigorous training to educate young children with hearing loss in collaboration with the children's parents. It offers a transdisciplinary approach, emphasizing listening and spoken language, and culminating in the master of science in education/emphasis deaf and hard of hearing degree, and a california education specialist dhh credential. It further serves as the foundation for graduates to become certified as listening and spoken language specialists.

Public information and education is used to share our knowledge, inform people of upcoming events and news, and provide guidance and support to families impacted by pediatric hearing loss. Information is distributed online, at events and conferences, through on-site tours and in print. Materials generated include online and electronic content (audio, video and text), print materials (e.g. Brochures, flyers, displays, newsletters, annual reports) as well as public and professional talks, presentations and exhibits.
