We promote opportunities for positive youth development via our jump mentoring program - johnston youth mentoring program. During the 2022-23 school year, we had 115 students matched with a volunteer community mentor, meeting each week during the school day to give guidance and support on their journey through secondary school.

Expenses: $74K

Our benevolence fund closed in june 2024. It was open to those residing within johnston school district boundries, requiring a short application/interview process. Assistance was given for rent/mortgage payments, outstanding utility bills, and other emergency living needs. Connections are made to other organizations that can give more sustainable support when needed. In the year leading up to its end, we provided over 16,000 of emergency assistance to 28 households.
