Journey Community Center

In 2024 Journey Station Restaurant gave $4150 to meet community needs through dessert sales. The expenses include one hourly contractor, utilities, insurance and mainly food and food supply costs. Additionally the restaurant served 70 individual free meals, meals to work teams and bereaved families, food for volunteer staff and food for several community wide events. The restaurant also provides community gathering space for local groups and families.

Journey Village is a motel being converted into a transitional housing facility. Expenses include insurance and building supplies. Revenue is from grant monies and fundraising as well as individual donations. No money was given out from this entity to the community as it is all being used to complete the project. The work is being done mostly by volunteers with big hearts. Firewalls must be completed between rooms and major infrastructure including water, septic, electrical and heating/ac are needed.
