Mission
The Organization helps build community-based, paraeducator-to-teacher pipelines to diversify the educator workforce. The Organization prioritizes working with communities where the ethnic-racial diversity of the student population does not align with the ethnic-racial composition of the teacher workforce. The Organization enhances economic mobility and professional opportunity for paraeducators, helping them transform their lives and those they serve.

Mentorship program: JET provided 1:1 mentorship to 37 scholars, supported by 29 veteran teachers who received monthly professional development (15 PD points), bimonthly gatherings, and ongoing resources. Mentors also had access to 1:1 support sessions and quarterly feedback surveys to enhance effectiveness. 100% of mentors reported being satisfied with JETs support, and 28 out of 29 plan to return next year, demonstrating the programs impact on teacher retention and workforce diversity.
External Evaluation: JET engages in an annual external program evaluation, ensuring an independent review of systems, data, and impact. This third-party analysis provides valuable feedback, allowing JET to continuously refine and enhance its services to better support scholars and mentors.
