Mission
Jubilee ministries exists to serve those affected by incarceration by being ambassadors of life change through the gospel of jesus christ.
Programs
2 programs
Chaplains lead worship services, teach bible studies, provide individual counseling, teach discipleship classes, visit cell blocks, and minister to prison staff. The organization provides full-time and part-time chaplain staff in state and county prisons throughout pennsylvania. Chaplains serve in these county prisons - bedford, blair, fayette, lackawanna, lebanon, luzerne, northumberland, wernersville community corrections center, and in the state correctional institutions at camp hill, coal township, frackville, mahanoy, and muncy.
The aftercare programs offer a structured, residential environment that provides opportunities for men and women to have their hearts and lives transformed through a relationship with jesus christ. With christ at the center, the organization seeks to address deep needs of those caught in cycles of incarceration, addiction, and unhealthy relationships. Aftercare is a phase-based program; completion is not determined by the amount of time spent in the program, but rather the successful progression through each phase. Each phase consists of specific goals in personal and spiritual growth and community integration. Students participate in group classes, individual counseling, and life skills training. Additionally, the restoration landscaping endeavor provides another employment opportunity for students who have reached the graduate phase of the program. These men work alongside a landscaping director learning valuable job skills that will follow them into their future.
