The jlsb has been providing grants to community non-profits that align with the jlsb mission through our community assistance funds (caf) since our 1988-1989 fiscal year. This program not only provides financial support to local non-profits, but also serves to train jlsb members in how to vet and independently award grant applications. In the 2023-2024 fiscal year a total of $13,732 in grants were given to seven non-profit awardees.
