The junior league of the palm beaches is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. The junior league welcomes all women who value our mission statement. We are committed to inclusive environments of diverse individuals, organizations and communities.

In 2023-2024 jlpb introduced the president's leadership series. The president's leadership series was introduced to teach women about the nuts and bolts of running non-profits, including best governance practices, nonprofit finance, managing others, and fundraising practices. The training empowered over 80 women to continue to pursue their leadership roles in jlpb. The program received an award from the association of junior leagues international for providing mission based value to members and for better preparing volunteers to impact the community as a whole

Through their done in a day (diad) program, jlpb served an average of 5 shifts per month and served 17 community partners. In this program, jlpb volunteers are able to quickly respond to their communities needs by working with partner organizations for a variety of projects, including food insecurity programs like the food bank, riviera beach urban farm, c.r.o.s. Ministries, and red apple school supplies.

Jlpb, in partnership with the national alliance for period supplies, accepts donated pads and panty liners that we distribute to various organizations in our community to help women in need. During the 2023-2024 league year jlpb distributed over 100,000 period supplies to our community. Since the inception of the period supplies program, jlpb has distributed 687,257 total supplies to community partners. Day of impact is an annual event for the junior league of the palm beaches. The members of the league dedicated the second saturday of march to volunteering in the community. Over 200 volunteer hours were volunteered on day of impact for 9 community partners. Eye and ear alert program. Since 1968, more than 1,000 children have participated in jlpb's eye and ear alert program, which provides free vision and hearing screenings to preschoolers and young children to detect possible concerns for affective correction. The program provides onsite screenings throughout the year in palm beach county. Our mentorship program helps build self-esteem and confidence in young people ages 12 to 22 by providing adult interaction, teaching life skills, instilling hope, and empowering the young in an effort to decrease the incidence of adult detention.
