Mission

Junior Theatre Inc exists to creatively enrich the lives of Quad City area youth by offering education in the art and craft of theatre. As America's second oldest children's theatre, we have a legacy of impact on youth and the community. Collaborating with Davenport Parks and Recreation, we produce mainstage productions free to the community, invest in the work of classes, camps, and workshops that reach more then 2,000 enrollments annually from 40 cities and towns, levy collaborative dollars through grants and donors, build alumni networks, and share the rich history of this program with the broader community. We believe every child deserves to engage this world with clarity, confidence, and creativity no matter where life may lead them. We also continue to proudly employee Quad City Area artists through our mainstage company, creating an even stronger ecosystem of artists in the quad cities to impact youth.
