Justice Dance Performance Project Inc

Jdpp empowers individuals and families impacted by incarceration through multi-arts residencies in prisons and schools, and performances in the community by returned citizens. Participants in bridging boundaries programs build interpersonal connection, process trauma, recover voice, and reimagine self. Audiences at community performances experience the human story of prison and its impact.

Jdpp engages students in schools to build creative expression to support literacy, expand awareness, and develop lifelong skills. Recognized as a national model, the moving matters program brings teaching artists into the classroom to lead multi-arts residencies in which kids help create a performance inspired by a selected book or theme.
