Since its establishment in 2020 Juvenile Outreach Advocate Inc JOA previously Juvenile Offender Advocate has been a beacon of hope for at-risk youth in the Athens-Clarke County community As a nonprofit 501c3 organization JOA is dedicated to advocating for the best interests of vulnerable youth youth facing overwhelming challenges and justice-involved youth We primarily focus on preventing juvenile justice involvement and breaking cycles of poverty We aim to promote accountability for all parties while fostering positive relationships through community collaboration At the heart of our organization are our trained and skilled Advocates who provide invaluable support to each program participant These Advocates offer nonjudgmental guidance and mentorship assisting youth through their court processes and helping them navigate the complexities of their trauma Our goal-oriented approach ensures that each participant sets shortand long-term goals and has a tai
