In 2023, kamo foundation dba anew charity organized a series of service initiatives involving the community, particularly focused on supporting children and families in need. Key activities included: snack bag assembly:approximately 4,000 snack paper bags were assembled, engaging about 100 schoolchildren from frisco, plano, and mckinney.service events: 14 service events were held throughout the year, with 12 led by high school teens at a frisco location. Donations to love pacs: the snack bags were donated to love pacs, which distributed them to area schools for students on free/reduced lunches and to food pantries serving little elm and frisco. Homeless support: anew continued its partnership with dallas soupmobile, donating supplies to assist the homeless in dallas. Art supplies donation:approximately 1,000 worth of school art supplies were donated to corbelland fisher elementary in frisco, donated by a volunteer. Funding sources:donations primarily came from families of child volunteers and some businesses, who also requested service events. Overall, the charity focused on supporting local communities, especially children, through hands-on volunteer work and donations.
