The corporation is organized pursuant to the georgia nonprofit corporaiton code and is organized exclusively for charitable, religioius, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distirbutions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. It is further the purpose of the corporation to encourage and promote a sober life, one free from drug and alcohol abuse, and to educate about drug abuse, alcohol abuse and disorders, substance abuse disorders, and sobriety. The corporation exists to financially assist individuals who have exhibited a sincere desire to obtain and maintain sobriety and defeat their addiction, focusing on goals and methods to achieve long-term sobriety, but who have not achieved success in the past, primarily as a result of limited to not economic resources.
