Kentucky Association Of Convention And Visitors Bureaus Inc

KACVB is a membership association composed of individual community convention and visitors bureaus (known as conference and/or tourism boards in many counties) that are primarily not-for-profit organizations that represent a specific destination such as a city or a region. Convention and Visitors Bureaus (CVBs) serve as the "official" point of contact for their destination for meeting professionals, tour operators, and individual Kentucky tourism commissions. KACVB has created an exclusive, accessible, and responsive organization for all bureau professionals in Kentucky. KACVB's purpose is to: 1) improve public awareness and understanding of the convention and visitors industry's economic and social contributions to society, 2) monitor and influence governmental policies and programs affecting members of the convention and visitors industry.
