Mission
Improving the economy of the keweenaw region in order to relieve poverty and lessen neighborhood tension caused by the lack of jobs, combat community deterioration by stabilizing and rehabilitating downtown buildings, developing a mix of housing, establishing new businesses, growing existing businesses, eliminating conditions of blight, and providing benefit to the under and unemployed.
