Kidshaven - this program provides short term counseling, education and housing to children/adolescents in the refugee population who cross international borders into the united states. The goal of the program is reunification of these children with family members who live in the united states.
Foster care programs: community foster care for children facing crisis served 737 children in 2024.
Outpatient mental health treatment programs: outpatient therapy for children facing crisis. Specifically, two acute partial hospitalization programs service clients in the lehigh valley region. This allows a transition from an inpatient hospitalization to a more formal and structured treatment setting over and above what outpatient programs provide.
