Mission
At kindful restoration we support justice-impacted individuals and underservered communities through trauma-informed care, housing, and re-entry services. Our programs promote recovery, reintegration and empowerment by offering temporary housing, peer mentorship, case management, workforce development, and wellness-based support groups. We also provide structured outpatient programming, including behavioral health and substance use services, as well as correspondence-based educational and rehabilitative courses for incarcerated individuals, with a focus on mindfulness, accountability, and community healing. Kindful restoration serves individuals impacted by incarceration, addiction, and homelessness.

This electronic contraband course examines the criminal thinking that leads to negative decisions, such as the use, possession, and sale of contraband electronics in a correctional setting. Correctional institutions prohibit the use of unauthorized electronics including: cell phones, smart watches, and devices containing banned content. Participants will explore the importance of safety and security within institutional settings and will address their behaviors and beliefs by challenging criminal thinking and attitudes. The electronic contraband course is available by correspondence and can be facilitated by a peer mentor leader. This program is also available in spanish.
