King St Neighborhood Revitalization

During the year, ksnrc paid $25,000 to the city of burlington, vt department of parks, recreation and waterfront as reimbursement for the cost of a playground in the king street area community. The board of directors believes this should be classifed as payment to a vendor and not as a grant or as assistance to a domestic government because there was no written agreement, the $25,000 payment was made after the playground had been completed and the purpose was to advance the ksnrc mission of promoting the general welfare of the king street area community. $2,500 was also paid to benefit the king street area community but was unrelated to the playground project.
